SHE’S MINE

Deon:

Solanie doesn't know it yet, but she's mine.

They all were.

Every woman that I’ve taken. But none of them were like Solanie.

I’m a very cautious man. I don’t make mistakes. I don’t leave behind evidence. That's how I've been able to evade capture from the police for all these years. But there’s something about Solanie that makes me want to throw all that caution to the wind.

It doesn’t matter that she already belongs to the street legend, Knight King. Whatever I want, I get.
And I want Solanie.

Solanie:

I’ve always prided myself on being strong enough to handle anything life tossed my way.

Knight King came barreling into my life giving me things that I didn’t even know I needed and turned my life into a dream. That is until a monster crept out of my darkest nightmares and shattered everything.

Solanie:

Taken. Stolen.

I never thought this could happen to me. I never thought I would ever be in this position—in a place where I must fight for my survival as I struggle to come to terms with my new reality, a world full of darkness and terror. A world where Deon believes I belong to him. His cruelty, his depravity, and his insanity scare me, but no matter what he does to me, I refuse to be broken.

Knight:

If I hadn’t known before, I know it now. Solanie belongs to me. I will get her back, and she will be my wife. Whoever took her from me will die a long, agonizing death. The only thing on my mind is murder. Bloody, torturous murder. I will paint the city of Houston red if need be until I find who had the unmitigated gall to try me.

If I hadn’t known before, I know it now. I love that girl.

She. Is. Mine.

SHE’S MINE (BOOK 1)

EXCERPT

I want her.

I knew it the first time I saw her—which was in the juice aisle of the grocery store, and suddenly nothing else mattered. I had to have her. I followed her up and down each aisle, watching everything she did. I wanted her, and I knew a woman like that wouldn’t give a nigga like me a second look. I haven’t ever been what you’d call attractive, but that’s okay with me. I’ve come to terms with that because I still can have any and every bitch I desire. Including this one.

I stood behind her in the checkout line. She smelled like cinnamon, and her jeans were fitting that ass so right. She didn’t notice how close I was standing behind her because her attention was arrested in her cell phone. Boyfriend maybe? I hoped not, but it really didn’t matter.

She’d been friendly to the cashier, smiled and even said, ‘thank you’. These days, not too many people have the decency of common courtesy. I liked her even more for that.

When she dropped her debit card, I picked it up and handed it to her, but not before looking at the name on it: Solanie James.

That was months ago, and I’ve said her name at least a thousand times since then. There’s a lot you can find out online about a person with a name as unique as Solanie. I easily found her on Facebook and then just as effortlessly found every other social media page she had because they were all linked to her Facebook account. She was very active on social media, so I was almost able to keep up with everything she did.

I’m not sure how much longer I can hide in the shadows lurking. I want Solanie more than the others, but I can’t just take her. These types of things have to be planned in excruciating detail. I’m what you call a very cautious man, and that’s the reason I’ve eluded the cops for so many years. But something about Solanie makes me want to throw all that caution to the wind and just say fuck it and take her.

I have to have her.
