MISS CANDICE

National bestselling author, Miss Candice was born and raised in Detroit Michigan. Her interest in writing began at the tender age of eleven, starting out with poetry. As time progressed, she found interest in urban fiction novels by authors such as Keisha Ervin, Eric Jerome Dickey, Teri Woods, and so forth. It wasn't until she stumbled upon fanfiction storyboards that she venture off into writing. Writing fanfiction quickly became a hobby of hers. Even then, she had a fanbase consisting of eager pre-teen and teenage girls highly anticipating her next B2K, Bow Wow, or Trey Songz story.

During this time, her interest in urban fiction skyrocketed. After reading 100+ Urban Fiction books, she decided to add a twist on Fanfiction. She wrote her first Urban fanfiction story, Greed, which was later published in 2017 on Amazon Kindle under the title 'She Found Love with A Savage". After the success of the Urban Fanfiction title, Greed, she kept at it, writing another hit titled Lions, Tigers and Bears, which ended up being her very first published, and bestselling Urban Fiction novel retitled as If Not For Love in 2014.

Miss Candice has written over 55 novels to date, with many more to come. In addition to writing, she's also a publisher, a wife, and a mom too. Although her hands are full, running her self-made company Miss Candice Presents and taking care of home, she still finds time to do the one thing she absolutely loves—writing.

Miss Candice has penned over forty novels. She's constantly working. When the words are flowing effortlessly, she can release a book every month. She's never gone more than 60 days without fresh material. For her, writing isn't her career—it's her life.

NEW RELEASE

Life for the Meeks family take a drastic turn for the worst when the head of the family, D'Angelo Meeks, is sentenced to 20 years in prison. Rhythm, her two sisters, Harmony and Melody and their mother are forced to move away from their glamorous four thousand square foot suburban mini mansion to a much smaller home in one of the most dangerous neighborhood's on the east side of Detroit. Rhythm, an optimist who's eagerly looking forward to college in the fall, tries to make the most out of a bad situation by occupying her time with fun. At least that's what she originally sat out to do. Once she gets tied up with one of the dope boys her cousins warned her about, those plans backfire. Seeing early on that the men in the hood are nothing like what she's used to, she tries to shift her attention elsewhere, that is until the infamous, Easton Edwards waltzes into her life.

East is fully aware of the effect he has on women but instead of engaging, using his good looks as a secret weapon, he focuses his energy on making money and lots of it. Unlike his peers, the drug game and scamming isn't his career choice. East would rather do what most didn't have the stomach for: murder for higher. His job isn't as strategic and pretty as action movies make it seem. He's in the trenches, offing whoever, for whatever as long as the price is right. There is no blueprint. He isn’t an ‘assassin’. He’s a hitter. And a damn good one at that. Some would say he’s a coldblooded killer, but you ask his twin sister Ezlyn who he is and she’ll tell a different story. That’s because with Ezlyn, Easton has a heart. For a long time, she was the only woman he cared about. But when he finds himself rescuing the feisty, innocent Rhythm for a second time, there’s a shift and Easton can’t seem to get her off his mind.

Street Love with an Eastside Goon focuses on the lives of Rhythm Meeks and Easton Edwards, an unlikely pair who ends up falling in love with one another. Although they’re the focal point, the people in their lives have a lot going on too. Skeletons are yet to fall out of closets, but soon enough they will. Especially when Easton, the hunter ends up becoming the hunted.
